永恆的父親
聖經閱讀：以賽亞書9:3-7 現代中譯本|合和本

今天，在美國有很多人會尊榮他們的父親。我的父親是一個好父親，他確保我有地方住、有東西吃，以及有衣服穿，但是，最重要的是，我的父親愛我。我的父親已經過世了，但我仍然懷念他的聲音和躺在他懷裡的安全感。 　今天的經文是在耶穌誕生的很多年前所寫的，第6節談到了耶穌：「有一個兒子將賜給我們……他將被稱為：『奇妙的導師』，『全能的上帝』，『永恆的父親』，『和平的君王』。」這些經節告訴我，耶穌是我「永恆的父親」。 　我屬世的父親已經過世了，我很高興耶穌是我永恆的父親，我可以在任何時間跟耶穌說話，可以在聖經裡讀到關於祂的事情。 　耶穌愛你，祂死在十字架上為要賜給你救恩和永生。你是否已經接受祂作為你永恆的父親呢？ —SAH 「他的王權將繼續增長；他的王國永享和平。他要繼承大衛的王位；他以公平正義為統治的基礎，從現在直到永遠。」 以賽亞書9:7a 禱告：上帝，謝謝祢賜下祢的兒子耶穌。奉主的名，阿們！ (尤榮輝譯)

Father Who Lives Forever
Bible Reading: Isaiah 9:3-7

Today many people in America will honor their fathers. My father was a good father. He made sure I had a place to live, food to eat and clothes to wear. But most important, my father gave me his love. My father has died, but I still miss the sound of his voice and how safe I felt in his arms. 　Our Bible Reading for today was written many years before Jesus was born. Verse 6 talks about Jesus. “God will give us a son...His name will be ‘Wonderful Counselor, Powerful God, Father Who Lives Forever, Prince of Peace.’” This verse tells me that Jesus is my “Father Who Lives Forever.” 　My earthly father died, but I am so glad that Jesus is my Father forever. I can talk to Jesus any time, and I can read about Him in the Bible. 　Jesus loves you and died on the cross to give you salvation and eternal life. Have you accepted Him as your Father Who Lives Forever? —SAH “His power will continue to grow, and there will be peace without end. This will establish him as the king sitting on David’s throne and ruling his kingdom. He will rule with goodness and justice forever and ever.” Isaiah 9:7a PRAYER: God thank You for Your Son, Jesus.
