Do What is Right
Bible Reading: Exodus 6:28-7:7
Friday, June 13, 2014
There have been times when I have seen someone doing something wrong. But I didn’t do anything about it. Why? Because I was afraid. In our Bible Reading, God told Moses to give His message to the king of Egypt. But Moses said in Exodus 6:30b, “I‘m a very bad speaker. How will I make the king listen to me?” God told Moses that He would be with him and help him. The next few chapters of Exodus tell us that Moses spoke to the king many times. Each time, God was with Moses and did miracles to show His power. God used Moses to be a great leader of the Israelites. This story about Moses teaches me that when I see wrong things happen, I should not be afraid to do what is right. Why? Because I know God will be with me. I hope you will do what is right and stand strong for God today. He was with Moses, and He will always be with you! —JP* “I will punish the people of Egypt, and they will learn that I am the Lord. Then I will lead my people out of their country.” Exodus 7:5
PRAYER: Dear Father, thank You for always being with me. In Jesus’ name. Amen. |
