今天的經文跟我們談到，有一天彼得和約翰到聖殿禱告，有一個跛腳的人在那裡向人討錢。那個人向彼得要錢，彼得告訴那人他沒有任何錢，但是可以給他其他東西。彼得對那人說（第6b節）：「我奉拿撒勒人耶穌基督的名命令你，起來走！」 　那人就站起來，開始走路，「邊走邊跳，頌讚上帝」（第8b節）。其他人都很驚訝，他們認為是彼得醫治了那個人，但是彼得向他們保證（第13a節），那是上帝做的！ 　有時候我們禱告求上帝醫治一個人，當上帝回應了那個禱告時，我們是否應該認為事情的發生是因為我們的禱告很棒？不！是上帝讓事情發生的，不是我們。 　當上帝回應你的禱告時，要確定你總是將頌讚和榮耀歸給祂，並感謝祂賜下祂的奇妙大能。 —DJH* 「這位獨一無二的上帝，藉著我們的主耶穌基督拯救了我們。願他得到榮耀、威嚴、能力，和權柄，從萬世到現在，直到永遠。阿們！」 猶大書1:25 禱告：上帝，謝謝祢回應我的禱告，我將一切榮耀都歸給祢。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (尤榮輝譯)

Our Bible verses tell us that one day Peter and John went to the temple to pray. A crippled man was there, begging for money. The man asked Peter for money. Peter told the man that he did not have any money, but he would give him something else. Peter said to the man (verse 6b), “By the power of Jesus Christ from Nazareth — stand up and walk!” 　The man stood up and walked. “He was walking and jumping and praising God” (verse 8b). The other people were amazed. They thought that Peter had healed the man. But Peter assured them (verse 13a), “No, God did it!” 　Sometimes we pray and ask God to heal a person. When God answers that prayer, should we think that it happened because our prayers are so good? No! God made it happen, not us. 　Be sure that you always give God the praise and glory when He answers your prayers. Thank Him for His wonderful power. —DJH* “He is the only God, the One who saves us.
