今天的經文告訴我們，耶穌回到祂的家鄉拿撒勒，那裡的人並不相信祂就是彌賽亞或是他們的救主，他們只將祂看作是一個在拿撒勒長大的男孩。 　以賽亞書53章是一個關於上帝兒子的預言，這個預言說，人們會拒絕耶穌，而且祂會受苦而死。很多猶太人認為上帝的兒子會來到世上並以君王的身分掌權，他們不認為祂會是一個僕人，而且是一個受苦的人。 　現今，有時候人們對耶穌會有錯誤的看法，也許他們可以接受耶穌行的一些神蹟，但是卻拒絶相信祂的復活。或者，他們認為耶穌只是一個凡人，而不是上帝的兒子。 　你要確實明白耶穌的真實身分，就透過讀經來認識祂，然後相信耶穌是救主、是你生命的主。 －SH* 「主的靈臨到我，因為他揀選了我，要我向貧窮人傳佳音。他差遣我宣告：被擄的，得釋放；失明的，得光明」 路加福音4:18a 禱告：天父，謝謝祢賜下耶穌、祂的死和復活。奉主的名，阿們！ (尤榮輝譯)

Jesus’ Hometown

Our Bible verses today tell us that Jesus went to His hometown of Nazareth. The people there did not believe that He was the Messiah or their Savior. They only saw Him as a boy who had grown up in Nazareth. 　Isaiah, chapter 53, is a prophecy about God’s Son. This prophecy said that people would reject Jesus and that He would suffer and die. Many Jews thought that God’s Son would come to earth and reign as a king. They did not think He would be a servant and a person who suffered. 　Sometimes today people have wrong ideas about Jesus. Maybe they accept some of Jesus’ miracles but refuse to believe in His resurrection. Or they think that Jesus was only a man and not the Son of God. 　Be sure that you understand who Jesus really is. Read the Bible and learn about Him. Then believe in Jesus as Savior and Lord of your life. —SH* “The Spirit of the Lord is on me. He has chosen me to tell good news to the poor.
