昨天我們讀到葉魯跟他女兒的故事，今天的經文告訴我們這個故事其餘的部份。 　耶穌正在前往葉魯住處的路上，有一些人來告訴葉魯他的女兒死了。想像一下葉魯的感受！一開始，他感到傷心，因為他的女兒生病了。後來，因為耶穌說祂會醫治她，他就感到開心。而這時，他又再度傷心，因為他的女兒死了。耶穌是怎麼跟葉魯說的？「不要怕，只要信」（第36b節）。 　有時候我們也會有像葉魯的感受。我們會對生命中的某種狀況感到害怕，會自己斷定情況糟糕到連耶穌也沒辦法幫我們處理。我們必須記住，耶穌的話也是對我們說的，我們不需要害怕，我們可以信任祂。 　葉魯相信耶穌，而祂就讓他的女兒從死裡復活。耶穌也會幫助我們，我們只要相信祂真是上帝的愛子。 －SH* 「女孩子立刻起來行走(那時她已經十二歲)。這事使大家非常驚訝！」 馬可福音5:42 禱告：親愛的上帝，我相信耶穌是祢的愛子。奉祂的名，阿們！ (尤榮輝譯)

Yesterday we read about Jairus and his daughter. Our Bible verses today tell us the rest of this story. 　Jesus was on His way to Jairus’ house. Some men came to tell Jairus that his daughter was dead. Imagine how Jairus felt! First, he was sad because his daughter was sick. Then, he was happy because Jesus said He would heal her. And now he was sad again because his daughter had died. What did Jesus say to Jairus? “Don’t be afraid; just believe” (verse 36b). 　Sometimes we feel like Jairus. We are afraid about some situation in our life. We decide that our situation is too bad and Jesus can’t take care of us. We need to remember that Jesus’ words are for us, too. We don’t need to be afraid. We can trust Him. 　Jairus believed in Jesus, and He raised his daughter from the dead. Jesus will help us, too. We just need to believe that He is truly God’s Son. —SH* “The girl immediately stood up and began walking. (She was twelve years old.)
