盼望：何地？

最近，我買了一棟房子。在我能搬進去住之前，有很多事需要完成：好幾個房間需要粉刷、一些房間需要新的電源插座、所有房間的窗戶都需要窗簾。 　　在今天聖經閱讀的第2節，耶穌說：「在我父親家裏有許多住的地方，我去是為你們預備地方；若不是這樣，我就不說這話。」想到耶穌正在為我預備一個永久居住的地方，實在令人興奮！ 　但是，也許你並不知道要去與耶穌永遠同住的路要怎麼走。在第6節，耶穌說：「我就是道路、真理、生命；要不是藉著我，沒有人能到父親那裏去。」到上帝那裡的唯一道路，就是藉著相信耶穌是你的救主並且遵從祂。 　我希望你能期待那個「大搬家日」，到時候，我們將離開地球並且進入上帝為我們預備的地方。 —BH 「我去為你們預備地方以後，要再回來，接你們到我那裏去，為要使你們跟我同在一個地方。」 約翰福音14:3a 禱告：上帝，謝謝祢為我預備一個與祢永遠同住的地方。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (EHI譯/台南聖教會英語團契)

Recently I bought a house. There were many things that needed to be done before I could move into the house. Several rooms needed to be painted, and some rooms needed new electrical outlets. All the rooms needed curtains hung on the windows. 　In verse 2 of our Bible Reading today, Jesus said, “There are many rooms in my Father’s house. I would not tell you this if it were not true. I am going there to prepare a place for you.” It is exciting to think that Jesus is preparing a place for me to live forever! 　But maybe you don’t know the way to live forever with Jesus. Jesus said in verse 6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. The only way to the Father is through me.” The only way to God is by trusting Jesus as your Savior and obeying Him. 　I hope that you are looking forward to that great“moving day” when we will leave this earth and enter the place that God has prepared for us. —BH “After I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back.
