在出埃及記第20章中，上帝賜給祂的百姓──以色列人，十條特別的法則或誡命。這些法則就像是羅盤；羅盤可以告訴我們應該往哪個方向走。相同的，這些法則告訴我們如何才能跟上帝和其他人有一個有良好的關係。 　在今天聖經閱讀的第36節中，一些猶太宗教領袖問耶穌：「老師，在摩西法律當中，哪一條誡命是最重要的？」耶穌並沒用十條誡命中的其中一條來回答他們，相反的，耶穌告訴他們：「你要全心、全情、全意愛主─你的上帝」(第37節)，以及「你要愛鄰人，像愛自己一樣」(第39節)。耶穌說，所有其他的法則都是「以這兩條誡命為根據的」(第40節)，這些法則讓我們知道更多愛上帝和其他人的道理。 　你要留意這些法則，並且讓他們幫助你為上帝而活。—LHD 「要敬畏上主，忠誠盡心地事奉他；要記住他為你們做的大事。」 撒母耳記上12:24 禱告：慈愛的上帝，今天我願順服祢、服事祢。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (CCS譯/台南聖教會英語團契)

In Exodus, chapter 20, God gave His people, the Israelites, ten special rules or commands. These rules are like a compass. A compass shows us which direction we should go. In the same way, these rules show us how we can have a good relationship with God and other people. 　In verse 36 of our Bible Reading today, some Jewish religious leaders asked Jesus, “Teacher, which command in the law is the most important?” Jesus did not answer by telling them one of the ten special rules. Instead, Jesus told them, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind” (verse 37) and “Love your neighbor the same as you love yourself” (verse 39). Jesus said that all the other rules “take their meaning from these two commands” (verse 40). These rules show us more about loving God and other people. 　Pay attention to these rules and let them help you live for God. —LHD “But you must honor the Lord.
