聖經閱讀：約翰福音1:1-18 現代中譯本|合和本

這是我們為「盼望」下的最後一個定義——「相信、渴慕、或信靠。」我們可以相信耶穌，我們應該渴慕耶穌，並且我們可以信靠耶穌。為什麼呢？因為耶穌就是上帝，而且祂是真實的。我們是如何知道這個真理的呢？今天的聖經閱讀就這樣告訴我們！此外，新約聖經27卷書中的26卷都有「耶穌基督」這幾個字。新約聖經的書卷是由許多不同的作者寫的，但他們都在談同一個人——耶穌。 　另外，受造物也告訴我們耶穌是真實。看看祂所創造的樹木、草地、動物、和人們，所有這些事物是怎麼出現的？一定有某一位造物主創造了地球以及在地球中的一切。創世記1:1說：「上帝創造天地。」約翰福音1:1說：「宇宙被造以前，道（耶穌）已經存在。道與上帝同在；道是上帝。」 　是的，耶穌是真實的，就把你的盼望交託給耶穌。把你的盼望交託給耶穌的意思是去渴慕祂，這也同時表示要相信耶穌、信靠耶穌！—CPE* 「以色列啊，要信靠上主，因為他有不變的愛；他有豐盛的救恩。他要拯救他的子民以色列脫離他們一切的罪惡。」 詩篇130:7-8 禱告：上帝，我相信祢是真實的，我將我的盼望交託給祢並且信靠祢！奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (EHI譯/台南聖教會英語團契)

Here is our last meaning for hope — “to believe, desire, or trust.” We can believe in Jesus. We should desire Jesus. And we can trust Jesus. Why? Because Jesus is God, and He is real. How do we know this? Our Bible Reading for today tells us so! Also, 26 out of 27 books in the New Testament have the words “Jesus Christ” in them. There are several different writers who wrote these books. They all talk about the same man — Jesus. 　Also, creation shows us Jesus is real. Look at the trees, grass, animals and people He made. How did all these things appear? There had to be someone who created the earth and everything in it. Genesis 1:1 says, “God created the sky and the earth.” John 1:1 says, “Before the world began, the Word (Jesus) was there. The Word was with God, and the Word was God.” 　Yes, Jesus is real. Put your hope in Jesus. Putting your hope in Jesus means to desire Him. It also means to believe in and trust Jesus! —CPE* “Israel, trust in the Lord. The Lord is the one who is faithful and true. He saves us again and again, and he is the one who will save the people of Israel from all their sins.” Psalm 130:7-8 PRAYER: God, I believe You are real. I put my hope and trust in You! In Jesus’ name. Amen.
