信靠上帝
聖經閱讀：詩篇118:5-9 現代中譯本|合和本

今天我們閱讀的經文位於聖經的正中間，這些經節是如此的重要，所以我們應該讓這些經節成為我們基督徒生活的中心。 　第8和第9節說：「求上主庇護，勝過倚靠必死的人。求上主庇護，勝過倚靠世上的首領。」當我們生命中遇到問題時，我們很容易去倚賴世界的人或事物，我們可能會整天看電視或上網，或者我們也許會選擇跟隨正在做錯事的朋友。 　上帝應該要成為我們生命的首位，對我們來說，祂應該比世界上的任何人或事物更為重要。朋友和錢財也許可以幫助我們暫時忘記問題，但是只有從上帝那裡，我們才能找到永遠的喜樂、智慧、和安慰。 　今天你要信靠誰呢？你會依靠朋友或是錢財來讓自己快樂嗎？你要信靠上帝會賜給你完全的安慰和休息。—BL 「這是上主得勝的日子；我們要歡樂，我們要慶祝。」 詩篇118:24 禱告：上帝，我倚靠祢得著喜樂、智慧、和安慰。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (KCC譯/台南聖教會英語團契)

Trust in the Lord

The verses in our Bible Reading are at the very center of our Bibles. And these verses are so important that we should make them the center of our Christian lives. 　Verses 8 and 9 say, “It is better to trust in the Lord than to trust in people. It is better to trust in the Lord than to trust in great leaders.” When we are facing problems in life, it is easy to put our trust in people or things in the world. We might spend all our time watching TV or surfing the Internet. Or we might choose to follow friends who are doing wrong things. 　God should have first place in our lives. He should be more important to us than people or things in the world. Friends and possessions may help us forget our problems for a short time. But only with God will we find joy, wisdom and comfort that will last forever. 　Who will you trust today? Will you depend on your friends or your things to make you happy?
