誕生的故事 (11)
聖經閱讀：加拉太書4:1-7 現代中譯本|合和本
2015年12月22日(二)

　今天經文閱讀的第4和第5節說：「但是時機成熟，上帝就差遣了自己的兒子，為女子所生，活在法律下，為要救贖在法律下的人，使我們獲得上帝兒女的名份。」
在時機成熟時，上帝差派耶穌到世上作我們的救贖者。什麼是「救贖者」呢？救贖者就是將屬於他自己的東西買贖回去的人。
上帝創造了歸屬於祂的人，但是後來罪進入了世界，罪使人與上帝隔絶，而上帝希望再與人親近，所以祂差派了愛子耶穌來將人買贖回去，也就是救贖了他們。
耶穌到世上是為了救贖人們──包括你和我！上帝希望我們親近祂，並成為祂家庭的一份子。
在這個聖誕節期中，就花時間記念耶穌為你所成就的事，然後感謝上帝賜下耶穌，你的救贖主！ —GT

Bible Reading: Galatians 4:1-7

Verses 4 and 5 of our Bible Reading say, “But when the right time came, God sent his Son, who was born from a woman and lived under the law. God did this so that he could buy the freedom of those who were under the law. God's purpose was to make us his children.”
At just the right time, God sent Jesus to earth to be our Redeemer. What is a redeemer? A redeemer is a person who buys back something that already belongs to him.
God created people to belong to Him. But then sin came into the world. That sin separated people from God. God wanted to be close to people again, so He sent His Son, Jesus, to buy people back — to redeem them.
Jesus came to redeem people — that includes you and me! God wants us to be close to Him and be part of His family.
Take time this Christmas season to remember what Jesus has done for you. Then thank God for Jesus, your Redeemer! —GT

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, thank You for Jesus, my Redeemer. In His name. Amen.
