懇切的言語/手語

今天早上我收到一份月報，是一個支持聽障事工的教會所發行的。那教會的一位同工將這份月報寄給我，每一次她寄的時候，都會附上一則私人的訊息，上面會談到天氣或是她的家人，而且她總是會因著我在上帝國度的事工而感謝我。 　這位女士原本可以按月只寄給我月報，而不需要再寫一則訊息，但每當在收件匣裡看到她的電子信時，我總是感到開心。她懇切的言語鼓勵了我，並且讓我整日有好心情。 　今天的經文提醒了我們，跟別人分享懇切的言語/手語是很重要的。當我們這麼做時，我們就鼓勵了別人，同時也讓他們看見了上帝的愛。此外，箴言16:24告訴我們，懇切的言語有益健康！ 　今天就找機會鼓勵你的家人、你的朋友、跟你一起工作的人，或是你遇到的陌生人。 —JK 「上主憎恨邪惡的思想；他卻悅納純潔的言語。懇切的話有如蜂蜜，使心靈愉快，身體健壯。」 箴言15:26, 16:24 禱告：天父，今天請讓我看見需要祢的愛的人。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (尤榮輝譯)

This morning I received a monthly report from a church that supports Deaf Missions. One of the church staff members sent me the report. Every time she sends it, she includes a personal note. She talks about the weather or her family and she always thanks me for my work in God’s kingdom. 　This woman could just send me the report every month. She doesn’t have to write a note. I am always happy when I see her e-mail in my in-box. Her kind words encourage me and make me feel good all day. 　Our Bible verses today remind us that sharing kind words/signs with other people is very important. When we do this, we encourage others and show them God’s love. And, Proverbs 16:24 tells us that kind words are good for our health! 　Look for opportunities today to encourage your family, your friends, the people you work with or strangers that you meet. —JK “The Lord hates evil thoughts, but he is pleased with kind words. Kind words are like honey; they are easy to accept and good for your health.” Proverbs 15:26, 16:24 PRAYER: Father, show me someone who needs Your love today. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
