上帝創造我們來敬拜祂、榮耀祂，這表示我們必須將生命交託給祂。而我們的思想、我們的行動，以及我們所說的話(或手語)，都要展現對上帝的愛。 　今天經文的第4節說：「要親近主─活的石頭；雖然他被人厭棄，但上帝揀選他，珍惜他。」這節經文告訴我們，上帝揀選耶穌作為我們的拯救者及生命之主，祂就是我們應當敬拜的那一位。 　在舊約時代，上帝的選民應該在一些特定的時候敬拜上帝，他們必須獻祭以取得赦免，但是因著耶穌的降生並死在十字架上，現今我們在任何時間、任何地方都可以敬拜。 　也許你是一個基督徒，但是你並不覺得你有盡到敬拜上帝的本份，好消息是，你今天可以開始敬拜上帝，承認你的罪、向上帝禱告，並閱讀祂的話語，這樣，你就會將頌讚和尊崇歸給祂。—JS* 「上帝是靈，敬拜他的人必須以心靈和真誠敬拜。」 約翰福音4:24 禱告：天父，今天我願用時間來敬拜祢。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (姜冠群譯)

God created us to worship and glorify Him. This means that we need to surrender our lives to Him. Our thoughts, our actions and our words/signs should show our love for God. 　Verse 4 of our Bible Reading says, “The Lord Jesus is the living stone. The people of the world decided that they did not want this stone. But he is the one God chose as one of great value. So come to him.” This verse tells us that God chose Jesus to be our Savior and Lord. He is the one we should worship. 　In the Old Testament, God’s people had certain times they were supposed to worship. They had to offer sacrifices to receive forgiveness. But because Jesus came and died on the cross, we can now worship anytime or anywhere. 　Maybe you are a Christian but you feel that you don’t worship God like you should. The good news is that you can start worshiping God today. Confess your sins, pray to God and read His Word. Then you will bring praise and honor to Him. —JS* “God is spirit.
