End Ahead
Bible Reading: Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
Saturday, April 20, 2013
One afternoon I was driving on a highway. I saw a sign that said, “END AHEAD.” This sign puzzled me. I thought, “The end of what?” I didn’t know the answer to this question until I actually saw what was ahead of me. As Christians, we can know what’s ahead of us right now! Verse 1 of today’s Bible Reading said, “There is a right time for everything, and everything on earth will happen at the right time.” This verse reminds me that God has a detailed plan for my life. God’s plan includes that we will be born and we will die. In between our birth and our death, we face bad times and good times. As Christians we don’t have to worry about what’s ahead of us. We can know that God is in control of our lives here on earth. And when we die, we will spend eternity with Him. Don’t worry about what’s ahead. Trust God to lead you today. —SAH “There is a time to be born and a time to die. There is a time to be sad and a time to dance with joy.” Ecclesiastes 3:2,4b
PRAYER: Heavenly Father, please help me to remember that I can trust You to lead me today. In Jesus’ name. Amen. |
