「信心名人堂」下一個要介紹的人物是喇合。她是一個住在耶利哥城的女子，希伯來書11:31說：「由於信心，妓女喇合不至於跟那些不服從上帝的人一起被殺，因為她友善地接待了探子。」 　今天閱讀的經文告訴我們，約書亞派兩個探子進到耶利哥城，喇合將二人隱藏以免被耶利哥王抓去。由於她恩待這兩個探子，所以當耶利哥城被毁滅時，她和家人卻得救了。 　喇合知道上帝的大能，而且她相信上帝會照顧她。約書亞記6:25說，在喇合離開耶利哥後，她和以色列人住在一起。在馬太福音1:5中，她甚至在耶穌的家譜中被提到。 　有時候我們會害怕去做上帝要我們做的事情，但是上帝幫助喇合、讓她剛強，祂也會幫助我們、使我們剛強。 —JK 「請你們答應饒了我父母、兄弟、姊妹，和他們家屬的性命，不讓我們遇害。」 約書亞記2:13 禱告：天父，我知道?今天要幫助我為祢剛強。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (EHI譯/台南聖教會英語團契)

The next person in the Faith Hall of Fame is Rahab. She was a woman who lived in the city of Jericho. Hebrews 11:31 says, “And Rahab, the prostitute, welcomed the Israelite spies like friends. And because of her faith, she was not killed with the ones who refused to obey.” 　Our Bible Reading tells us that Joshua sent two spies into the city of Jericho. Rahab hid the two spies from the king of Jericho. Because of her kindness to the spies, Rahab and her family were saved when Jericho was destroyed. 　Rahab knew about God’s power, and she had faith that God would take care of her. Joshua 6:25 says that after Rahab left Jericho, she lived with the Israelites. She is even mentioned as being part of Jesus’ family line in Matthew 1:5. 　Sometimes we might be scared to do the things God wants us to do. God helped Rahab to be strong.
