簡短的禱告 (2)

聖經閱讀：路加福音18:9-14

在今天閱讀的經文中，我們讀到了兩個簡短的禱告，其中一個人的禱告充滿了驕傲，而另外一個人的禱告則充滿了謙卑。

那個法利賽人是猶太人的一個宗教領袖，他的禱告充滿了驕傲，他說：「上帝啊，我感謝你，因為我不像別人那樣貪婪、不義、淫亂，更不像那個稅棍」（第11節）。也許有時候我們會像這個法利賽人一樣自認為特別，我們眼看世界而自認比別人好，因為我們有上教會。

但是那個稅吏這麼禱告（第13b節）：「上帝啊，可憐我這個罪人！」這就是上帝希望我們作的簡短禱告。如果我們有一顆謙卑的心，我們就會明白每一天我們都犯了罪而需要上帝的憐憫和赦免。

要注意你生命中的罪，感謝上帝透過耶穌的犧牲賜給我們愛和憐憫。 —DF

禱告：上帝，我是一個罪人，求祢向我施憐憫並赦免我的罪。奉耶穌的名，阿們！

Simple Prayers (2)

In our Bible verses today, we read two simple prayers. One person’s prayer was full of pride. The other person’s prayer was full of humility.

The Phrarisee, a Jewish religious leader, prayed a prayer filled with pride. He said, “O God, I thank you that I am not as bad as other people..I thank you that I am better than this tax collector” (verse 11). Maybe sometimes we think that we are special like this Pharisee. We look at the world and think that we are better than other people because we go to church.

But the tax collector prayed (verse 13b), “O God, have mercy on me. I am a sinner!” This is the kind of simple prayer that God wants us to pray. If we have a humble heart, we will realize that we sin every day and need God’s mercy and forgiveness.

Be aware of the sin in your life. Thank God for the love and mercy He gave to us through Jesus’ sacrifice. —DF

PRAYER: God, I am a sinner. Please show me Your mercy and forgive my sins. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
