要知道一個人是否真的是基督徒是一件很令人困惑的事。有人說，因為他們做善事就可以知道他們是基督徒，也有人說真正的基督徒一定有屬靈的恩賜。有些人說，如果他們受了洗，就是基督徒了；也有人說，如果他們說自己相信耶穌，我們就知道他們是基督徒；還有人說，真正的基督徒懂聖經並相信「對的事」。 　基督徒做了很多前面說的事，但聖經怎麼定義基督徒呢？今天閱讀的經文跟我們談到一個真正基督徒的形象。第一個要求就是愛。耶穌說，如果我們愛祂，就會遵從祂（約翰福音15:10）；耶穌命令我們要愛人（約翰福音13:34），而且在約翰一書4:7-8，我們知道跟隨耶穌的人以愛待人。 　聖經告訴我們，基督徒會愛上帝、愛耶穌，並且愛人。我希望你今天會展現愛的行動。 —MK 「我怎樣愛你們，你們也要怎樣彼此相愛。如果你們彼此相愛，世人就知道你們是我的門徒。」 約翰福音13:34b-35 禱告：親愛的上帝，求祢幫助我讓人看見我真是屬於祢。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (江惠蓉譯)

There is a lot of confusion about how to know if people are really Christians. Some people say we can know Christians because they do good things. Other people say real Christians must have spiritual gifts. Some people say we know people are Christians if they are baptized. Others say we can know people are Christians if they say they believe in Jesus. And still other people say real Christians know the Bible and believe the “right” things. 　Christians do many of those things. But what does the Bible say about being a Christian? Today’s Bible verses tell us what a real Christian is like. The first thing on the list is love. Jesus said if we love Him, we will obey Him (John 15:10). Jesus commanded us to love other people (John 13:34). Also, in 1 John 4:7-8 we learn that people who follow Jesus show love for others. 　The Bible tells us that someone who is a Christian will show love for God, Jesus and other people.
