聖經閱讀：詩篇37:3-7 現代中譯本|合和本

當我們把賣地的消息公告出去後，我禱告地會馬上賣出。有好幾個人來看地，其中有一些人開價要買，但是都沒有成交。 　幾個月後，我開始感到灰心，我懷疑是否上帝真的希望我們搬家。但是我持續不斷地禱告，而就在適當的時機，鎮上有一棟房子要賣，看起來那是一棟完美的房子！我們就等看看有沒有人會買我們的地。 　幾個星期後，有人開了一個好價錢要買我們的地，讓我們能夠買鎮上那棟我們想要的房子。回頭看看過去，我才明白這一切都是上帝為我們預備的計劃，為要讓我們得著那棟適合我們的房子。 　今天閱讀的經文提醒我們必須信靠上帝，並等候祂回應我們的禱告。祂永遠希望賜給我們那上好的福份，今天就耐心等候上帝的回應。 —JK 「要把你自己交託上主；信靠他，他會幫助你。要耐心等候在上主面前。」 詩篇37:5,7a 禱告：上帝，有時候信靠祢、等候祢的回應是一件困難的事，求祢今天幫助我成為有耐心的人。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (尤榮輝譯)

When we put our acreage on the market, I prayed that we would sell it right away. Several people looked at our place, and a couple people made offers to buy it. But nothing seemed to work out. 　After a couple of months, I started to become discouraged, and I wondered if God really wanted us to move. But I kept praying, and at just the right time, a house in town came on the market. It seemed like the perfect house! We waited to see if someone would buy our place. 　A few weeks later, someone offered us a good price for our acreage, and we were able to buy the house that we wanted in town. Looking back, I see that this was all part of God’s plan for us to get the house that was right for us. 　Our Bible verses today remind us that we need to trust God and wait for Him to answer our prayers. He always wants what is best for us. Be patient and wait for God’s answers today. —JK “Depend on the Lord. Trust in him, and he will help you. Trust in the Lord and wait quietly for his help.” Psalm 37:5,7a PRAYER: God, sometimes it is hard to trust You and wait for Your answers. Help me to be patient today. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
