在今天閱讀的經文中，保羅列舉了一些令人驚嘆的事：說多種語言、洞悉各種奧祕、說預言、有堅強的信心能夠行神蹟，甚至犧牲自己的生命，但是保羅說，如果一個人沒有愛，這些事一點價值也沒有！如果我們是因為愛上帝和愛人而做好事，那麼這些事就是向人施展愛的漂亮方式；這些事榮耀了上帝，並且幫助了別人。但是如果我們做善事是為了讓人注意我們、稱讚我們，那麼這些事就一點價值也沒有了。 如果真的有愛，我們就不會在乎所做的事能得到回報。我們做善事是因為我們想要榮耀上帝，以及幫助別人。 我希望今天你會有愛的行動，去為上帝、為別人做有益的事。 —MK 「愛人要真誠。要厭棄邪惡，持守良善。要以手足之情相親相愛；要竭誠互相敬重。」 羅馬書12:9-10

Love is Necessary

In our Bible Reading today, Paul listed some amazing things: speaking many languages, understanding secret things, telling prophecies, having amazing faith that can do miracles, and even giving up one’s life. But Paul said that if a person does not have love, these things are worthless! If we do wonderful things because we love God and other people, then these things are a beautiful way to show love. These things glorify God and help other people. But if we do good things because we want people to notice us and give us praise, then the things we do are worthless. If we really love, we will not be interested in receiving a reward for what we do. We will do good things because we want to glorify God and help other people. I hope you will love and do good things for God and others today.—MK “Your love must be real. Hate what is evil. Do only what is good. Love each other in a way that makes you feel close like brothers and sisters. And give each other more honor than you give yourself.” Romans 12:9-10
