做有益的事

有一天，我的朋友邀請我跟她一起去迪士尼樂園玩，我真的好興奮！一年之後，我有機會去參加一場音樂會，我知道我朋友喜歡這個音樂，所以就請她跟我一起去參加那場音樂會。我的朋友對我做有益的事，然後我也對她做有益的事。 　這就是保羅在今天閱讀的經文中所要談的。如果我們選擇做壞事，我們會得到不好的結果──永恆的死亡，但是如果我們選擇遵從上帝並且持續不斷忠心地服事祂，我們就會領受祂的永生美好禮物。 　在第9節，保羅鼓勵基督徒持續做有益的事、不要放棄。有時候，持續不斷跟隨上帝是困難的，但這卻是祂希望我們做的事。 　今天就想一想你可以為別人做的、有益的事，然後就開心地去為別人做這些事。當你服事祂並服事人時，上帝會祝福你。 —AS 「一有機會就讓為公眾做有益的事，對那些在信仰上同屬一家的人更應該這樣。」 加拉太書6:10 禱告：恩主，我今天就要為別人做有益的事。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (江惠蓉譯)

Doing Good
Bible Reading: Galatians 6:6-10
One day my friend invited me to go to Disneyland with her. I was really excited! A year later, I had a chance to go to a music concert. I knew my friend loved this music, so I asked her to go to the concert with me. My friend did something nice for me, and then I did something nice for her.

That is what Paul is talking about in our Bible verses today. If we choose to do bad things, we will receive something bad — eternal death. But if we choose to obey God and continue to serve Him faithfully, we will receive His good gift of eternal life. 　In verse 9, Paul encourages these Christians to continue doing good things and not give up. Sometimes it is hard to keep on following God. But that is what He wants us to do. 　Think about good things that you can do for other people today. Then be happy and do those things for others. God will bless you as you serve Him and others. —AS 　“When we have the opportunity to do good to anyone, we should do it. But we should give special attention to those who are in the family of believers.” Galatians 6:10 PRAYER: Lord, I want to do good things for others today. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
