世界所需要的

有人認為，科技可以幫助我們擁有一個更和平的世界，這些人相信科學會取代宗教，他們也相信政治會讓政府和人民之間更加和諧。但是歷史告訴我們，這些東西都曾經被拿來毀滅世上的許多民族。 　世界似乎越來越糟，比以前有更多的兇殺、戰爭和恐怖主義。世界需要什麼樣的和平呢？今天閱讀的經文跟我們談到耶穌賜下的平安。耶穌的平安是更好的，因為這是基於祂無條件的愛。耶穌的真平安絕不會傷害任何人或做出不好的事。 　我們不需要從科學或政治來得到平安與和諧，世界更需要的是耶穌和祂的平安。今天你可以讓世界看見這樣的平安！ —BL 「我留下平安給你們，我把我的平安賜給你們。我所給你們的，跟世人所給的不同。你們心裡不要愁煩，也不要害怕。」 約翰福音14:27 禱告：上帝，我的盼望和倚靠單單在於祢；謝謝祢透過耶穌賜平安給我們。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (盧姵茹譯)

Some people think that technology will help us have a more peaceful world. These people believe that science will replace religion. They also believe that politics will lead to more harmony between governments and people. But history shows us that these things have been used to destroy many people around the world. 　The world seems to be getting worse. There are more murders, wars and terrorism than ever before. But what kind of peace does the world need? Our Bible Reading tells us about the peace that Jesus gives. Jesus’ peace is better because it is based on His unconditional love. Jesus’ true peace will never hurt anyone or do anything bad. 　We do not need to have science or politics to have peace and harmony. The world needs more of Jesus and His peace.
