上帝滿足人
聖經閱讀：詩篇107:1-9 現代中譯本|合和本

有時候我們每天過著一成不變的生活。我們醒來、吃早餐、上班、回家、吃晚餐、溜狗，然後上床睡覺。隔天，我們照著相同的程序再做一次。 　我們的生活常常變得無趣，而在事物或其他人身上尋求滿足。我們想要得到新的工作、新傢具，或是新衣服。儘管是悲哀的一件事，但是我們甚至可能考慮去找新朋友，或是新的先生或太太。 　今天閱讀的經文提醒我們，只有耶穌可以真正滿足我們。我們應當懇求上帝滿足我們，而不是從我們周遭的事物來尋求快樂。我們應當祈求上帝改變我們的態度，而不是花時間努力改變我們生活中的事物。我們應當花時間讀經，而不是花時間在臉書上。 　今天你是否感到無聊或不滿足呢？就請求上帝用祂的愛和話語來滿足你。 —TS 「他們要感謝上主的慈愛，要稱頌他所做的奇事。他使乾渴的人得到滿足，使飢餓的人飽餐美食。」 詩篇107:8-9 禱告：主，求祢今天改變我的態度，使我倚靠祢來滿足我的需要。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (尤榮輝譯)

Sometimes we have the same routine every day. We wake up, eat breakfast, go to work, come home, eat dinner, walk the dog and go to sleep. The next day we follow the same routine again. 　Often our lives become boring, and we look for satisfaction in things or other people. We think about a getting a new job or new furniture or new clothes. It is sad, but we may even think about finding new friends or a new husband or wife. 　Today’s Bible verses remind us that only Jesus can truly satisfy us. Instead of looking for happiness in things around us, we should ask God to satisfy us. Instead of spending time trying to change things in our lives, we should ask God to change our attitude. Instead of spending time on Facebook, we should spend time reading the Bible. 　Are you bored or not satisfied today? Ask God to satisfy you with His love and His Word. —TS “Thank the Lord for his faithful love and for the amazing things he does for people. He satisfies those who are thirsty.
