爸爸的靈修文 (2)

有一個朋友告訴我，在他小時候，他母親會將洗好的衣服晾在一條曬衣繩上，而他跟他的兄弟就在曬衣繩的附近玩耍，有時候他們會撞掉一些衣服，而衣服就再一次弄髒了。當這樣的事發生時，我朋友的母親就會要他跟他的兄弟清洗這些衣服，直到它們再一次乾淨。 　這個故事就好像我們基督徒的生命。當成為基督徒之後，我們的罪就被赦免、我們就潔淨了，但是不久之後，我們也許會再犯罪、不順服上帝，而好消息是耶穌的寶血會繼續赦免我們的罪並使我們潔淨。 　在今天閱讀的經文中，約翰告訴我們單單要做的，就是承認我們的罪並懇求上帝赦免我們：「他是信實公義的，他要赦免我們的罪」（第9b節）。 　就請求上帝赦免你的罪並倚靠祂來幫助你每天更親近祂。 —GM 「如果我們向上帝認罪，他是信實公義的，他要赦免我們的罪，洗淨我們所犯的各種過錯。」 約翰一書1:9 禱告：親愛的上帝，謝謝祢愛我並赦免我的罪。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (尤榮輝譯)

A friend told me that when he was young, his mother hung the clean laundry on a clothesline to dry. He and his brother played in the yard near the clothesline. Sometimes they would knock some of the laundry off the line, and it would become dirty again. When that happened, my friend's mother would make him and his brother wash the clothes until they were clean again. 　This story is like our Christian life. When we become a Christian, our sins are forgiven and we are clean. But soon we may sin and disobey God. The good news is that Jesus' blood continues to forgive our sins and makes us clean. 　In our Bible Reading today, John tells us that all we have to do is confess our sins and ask God to forgive us. “We can trust God to do this” (verse 9b). 　Ask God to forgive your sins and depend on Him to help you grow closer to Him each day. —GM “But if we confess our sins, God will forgive us. We can trust God to do this. He always does what is right. He will make us clean from all the wrong things we have done.” 1 John 1:9 PRAYER: Dear God, thank You for loving me and forgiving my sins.
