我有一個兩歲大的孫子，他現在正處於學習「不」這個字的意思的階段。他的父母經常提醒他什麼是他不能做的事、什麼是他不應該碰的東西。最近我的女兒告訴我，他們正在教我的孫子不要去碰音響的旋鈕。他們一責罵我的孫子，他就走開，然後不久之後他又再回來做同樣的事。 我們有時候看著小孩，真想知道他們是否能學會做對的事。也許上帝看著在世上的我們，也想知道我們是否能學會真正跟隨祂。 今天閱讀的經文提醒我們，如果我們是上帝的兒女，我們就會愛祂、遵守祂的命令。不要像一個一直不順服的小孩，今天就服事並順服上帝。 —GM 「遵守上帝的命令就是愛上帝；他的命令並不難於遵守，因為上帝的每一個兒女都能夠勝過世界。使我們勝過世界的，是我們的信心。」 約翰一書5:3-4
禱告：上帝，有時候順服祢是困難的，但是我知道祢會與我同在來幫助我跟從祢。奉耶穌的名，阿們！

I have a two-year-old grandson. He is now at the stage where he is learning the meaning of the word “no.” His parents are constantly reminding him about what he cannot do and what he should not touch. Recently my daughter told me that they are teaching my grandson not to touch the knobs on their stereo. They scold my grandson, he walks away and then returns a few seconds later to do the same thing again. We sometimes look at young children and wonder if they will ever learn to do what is right. Maybe God looks at us here on earth and wonders if we will ever learn to truly follow Him. Our Bible Reading today reminds us that if we are God's children, we will love Him and obey His commands. Don't be like a young child who continues to disobey. Serve and obey God today. —GM “Loving God means obeying his commands. And God's commands are not too hard for us, because everyone who is a child of God has the power to win against the world.” 1 John 5:3-4
PRAYER: God, it is sometimes hard to obey You. But I know that You will be with me to help me follow You. In Jesus' name. Amen. |
