在今天閱讀的經文中，保羅談到了兩種人──跟從錯誤教導的人，以及喜愛金錢的人。在第11和12節，保羅告訴我們應當做三件事來避免跟從錯誤的教導或貪愛金錢。在第11節，保羅說我們應當「遠避這一切」，為什麼呢？因為我們「是上帝所重用的人」，我們應該避開會受誘惑而去犯罪的情況。 保羅在第11節繼續說，另外一件我們應當做的事是「要追求正義。」我們如何追求正義呢？就是藉著對上帝「敬虔」，而且要有「信心、愛心、忍耐，和溫柔。」 最後，保羅在第12節說，我們應該「在信仰的競賽上要盡力奔跑」，我們必須努力每天順服上帝。 今天就遵從保羅的忠告並追求正義！ —GM 「為自己贏得永恆的生命；就是為了這個目的，你蒙上帝呼召，在許多證人面前公開宣認了那美好的信仰。」 提摩太前書6:12b

In our Bible verses today, Paul talked about two kinds of people — people who follow false teachings and people who love money. In verses 11 and 12, Paul tells us three things we should do to avoid following false teachings or loving money. In verse 11, Paul says we should “stay away from all those things.” Why? Because we “belong to God.” We should avoid situations where we will be tempted to sin. Paul continues in verse 11 to say that another thing we should do is “always try to do what is right.” How can we do what is right? By being “devoted to God” and having “faith, love, patience and gentleness.” Finally, Paul says in verse 12 that we should “fight to keep our faith.” We need to work hard every day to obey God. Follow Paul's advice today and do what is right! —GM “Take hold of eternal life. It is the life you were chosen to have when you confessed your faith in Jesus — that wonderful truth that you spoke so openly and that so many people have heard.” 1 Timothy 6:12b
