另一個跟保羅一起旅行的人是底馬，腓利門書第24章提到他是跟保羅一起同工的人。當保羅寫信給歌羅西教會時，底馬正跟保羅一起同工（歌羅西書4:14）。 　但是有關底馬的故事並不愉快。在今天經文的第10節，保羅說「底馬貪愛現世，離開我到帖撒羅尼迦去了。」我們不確定發生了什麼事，但看起來底馬想要事奉世界的心更勝過事奉上帝。 　事奉上帝並不總是那麼容易，有時候我們也許會看到世上一些令人興奮的事，就認為停上跟隨上帝會讓我們更輕鬆一點，但是我們必須記得，事奉上帝是我們可以做的最重要的事。 　今天你也許必須在事奉上帝或服事世界中作一些選擇，不要學像底馬，也不要停止事奉上帝，而要盡心、盡性、盡力去事奉祂。 —JK 「聖經說：『要拜主─你的上帝，惟獨敬奉他！』」 路加福音4:8 禱告：今天我願事奉祢，上帝。求祢讓我一生專注於祢。奉耶穌的名禱告，阿們！ (尤理權譯)

Another person who traveled with Paul was Demas. He is mentioned in Philemon 24 as someone who worked together with Paul. Demas was working with Paul when he wrote his letter to the church at Colossae (Colossians 4:14). 　But the story about Demas is not a happy story. In verse 10a of our Bible Reading Paul says, “Demas loved this world too much. That is why he left me.” We don’t know for sure what happened, but it seems that Demas wanted to serve the world more than he wanted to serve God. 　Serving God is not always easy. Sometimes we may look at exciting things in the world and think that it would be easier to stop following God. But we need to remember that serving God is the very most important thing we can do. 　Today you may need to make some choices about serving God or serving the world. Don’t be like Demas. Don’t stop serving God. Serve Him with all your heart, your soul and your strength. —JK “The Scriptures say, ‘You must worship the Lord your God.
