身為基督徒，我們有上帝的信息在我們心裡面，我們不要因世界的事情而感到沮喪，而應該將心思專注在上帝和祂的話語上。 　保羅非常以帖撒羅尼迦的教會為榮，在第19和20節，他告訴他們：「你們是我們的希望，我們的喜樂。在我們的主耶穌再來的時候，我們所要誇耀的冠冕不正是你們嗎？你們的確是我們的光榮和喜樂！」因著不信的猶太人，這些基督徒遭受了許多苦難，但是他們的信心仍然堅強。 　帖撒羅尼迦的基督徒因為接受了上帝的信息而剛強，他們讓上帝的教導成為他們生活的一部分，並且天天讓這些教導來幫助他們。 　今天上帝的信息就在我們的生命中作工，務必不要讓人的想法阻擋你領受從上帝而來的真理，而要親近上帝和祂的話語，也就是聖經。 —KR 「我們也常常感謝上帝；因為我們所傳的信息，你們聽見了，領受了，並不以為是領受人的信息，而是領受那確確實實出自上帝的信息。」 帖撒羅尼迦前書2:13 禱告：親愛的上帝，求祢幫助我專注在祢和祢的話語上。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (林威妮譯)

As Christians, we have God’s message in our hearts. We should not let things in the world discourage us. We should keep our focus on God and His Word. 　Paul was very proud of the church in Thessalonica. He told them in verses 19 and 20, “You are our hope, our joy, and the crown we will be proud of when our Lord Jesus Christ comes. You bring us honor and joy.” These Christians were suffering bad things because of the Jews who didn’t believe. But still, the Thessalonians remained strong in their faith. 　The Christians in Thessalonica were strong because they had accepted God’s message. They had made God’s teaching part of their lives and allowed this teaching to help them every day. 　God’s message is working in our lives today, too. Be sure to not let men’s ideas keep you from accepting the truth from God. Stay close to God and His Word, the Bible. —KR “Also, we always thank God because of the way you accepted his message.
