「我與你同在」

我正開車要去赴一個約，天氣陰冷。我發現天空的一邊太陽正努力從雲間探出頭來，但是另一邊卻烏雲密佈，好像暴風雨即將來臨。那些烏雲讓我想起曾經在我生命中發生過的苦難「風暴」。 　從雲間照射出來的陽光剛好足夠形成一道彩虹，這個現象並不尋常。通常彩虹出現在大雨過後，當我看著那道彩虹時，它讓我想起上帝曾經與我同在，我知道祂會照顧我，使我克服苦難。 　在今天的經文中，雅各做了一個夢，夢中上帝告訴他：「我要與你同在；無論你到哪裏，我都保護你」（第15a節）。上帝與雅各同在並照顧他，我知道上帝也會與我同在──甚至在我有擔憂和懷疑的時候。 　今天就信靠上帝，祂會與你同在並且保護你。 －BH 「並且帶領你回到這片土地。我絕對不離棄你；我一定實現對你的許諾。」 創世記28:15b 禱告：主，我好高興知道祢永遠與我同在。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (尤榮輝譯)

“I Am With You”

I was driving to an appointment. The weather was cool and cloudy. I noticed that on one side the sun was trying to peek through the clouds. But on the other side, the clouds were dark and it looked like a storm was coming. Those storm clouds reminded me of the “storms” of difficult times that were happening in my life. 　The sun shone through the clouds just enough that a rainbow formed in the sky. This was unusual. Usually a rainbow appears after a storm. As I watched the rainbow, it reminded me that God was with me. I knew He would take care of me through my difficult times. 　In our Bible verses for today. Jacob had a dream. In that dream, God told him, “I am with you, and I will protect you everywhere you go” (verse 15a). God was with Jacob and took care of him. I know that God will be with me, too — even when I have worries and doubts. 　Trust God today. He will be with you and protect you. —BH “I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I promised.” Genesis 28:15b PRAYER: Lord, I am so happy to know that You are always with me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
