愛上帝
聖經閱讀：馬太福音22:34-40 現代中譯本|合和本

我太太跟我第一次來到聾人教會，那時停車場一輛車也沒有，我們就懷疑是不是到訪的時間不對。 　我們走上人行道，教會入口的大門是開著的，我們往裡面看去，有一個女人正站在那裡──她臉上堆著燦爛的笑容，她自我介紹說她叫海蒂。接下來的幾年，我們越來越喜愛海蒂。她會將花椰菜加到他作的果凍甜點裡，而且她整年都穿著一件尺寸過大的外套。 　但是最讓我記憶深刻的事是海蒂對上帝的愛。她從來不會想要談起她自己，她只想要跟人談上帝的事情，以及上帝是多麼的愛她。海蒂從來沒有很多錢可以奉獻，但她總是奉獻自己去幫助別人。 　今天的經文告訴我們，愛上帝是最重要的誡命。想一想你自己的生命，在你周圍的人是否有看見你愛上帝呢？ －GB 「耶穌說：『你要全心、全情、全意愛主─你的上帝。』這是第一條最重要的誡命。」 馬太福音22:37-38 禱告：親愛的上帝，我願愛祢勝過一切。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (尤榮輝譯)

My wife and I arrived at Deaf Church for the first time. There were no cars in the parking lot. We wondered if we had arrived at the wrong time. 　We walked up the sidewalk. The door to the church was open. We looked inside. A woman was standing there — she had a big smile on her face. She introduced herself as Hattie. Over the next few years we grew to love Hattie. She put broccoli in her Jell-o desserts and wore an oversized coat all year round. 　But the thing that I remember the most about Hattie was her love for God. She never wanted to talk about herself. She wanted to talk about God and how much He loved her. Hattie never had much money to give, but she always gave herself to help other people. 　Our Bible Reading today tells us that loving God is the most important command. Think about your life. Do the people around you see that you love God? —GB “Jesus answered, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul. and all your mind. This is the first and most important command.’” Matthew 22:37-38 PRAYER: Dear Lord, I want to love You most of all. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
