見證人

我們活在世上的理由是什麼呢？上帝希望我們認識祂，並且跟祂有一個私人關係。但是，在我們信主之後呢？這時我們活著的理由又是什麼呢？ 　今天的經文告訴我們，基督徒在世上有至為重要的任務。我們要去向每一個我們所遇見的人傳講耶穌的福音。 　耶穌從死裡復活之後，祂跟門徒見面並教導他們。當耶穌準備好要回到天上時，祂告訴門徒：「你們要到世界各地去，向全人類傳福音。信而接受洗禮的，必然得救；不信的，要被定罪」（第15-16節）。 　我們在世上的任務就是成為耶穌的見證人，我希望今天你將會成為一個見證人。就去向某一個必須認識上帝的慈愛與救恩的人分享耶穌的福音。 —RK* 「門徒出去，到處傳福音；主與他們同工，藉著所行的神蹟，證明他們所傳的道是真實的。」 馬可福音16:20 禱告：上帝，我願去向人傳講祢的愛子，耶穌。奉主的名，阿們！ (尤榮輝譯)

What is our reason for living on earth? God wants us to know Him and have a personal relationship with Jesus. But what about after we become a Christian? What is our reason for living then? 　Our Bible Reading today tells us that Christians have the most important job on earth. We are to tell the Good News about Jesus to everyone we meet. 　After Jesus rose from the dead, He met with His disciples and taught them. As Jesus was getting ready to return to heaven, He told His followers, “Go everywhere in the world. Tell the Good News to everyone. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved. But those who do not believe will be judged guilty” (verses 15b-16). 　Our job here on earth is to be a witness for Jesus. I hope you will be a witness today. Share the Good News about Jesus with someone who needs to know about God’s love and salvation. —RK* “The followers went everywhere in the world telling people the Good News, and the Lord helped them.
