今天經文的第1節說：「耶穌向門徒們講一個比喻，要他們常常禱告，不可灰心。」耶穌跟祂的門徒說了一個故事來幫助他們了解。這個故事是關於一個女人，她的丈夫死了，而有一個人對她做了壞事，所以那個女人就去找法官、請求幫助。那個法官既不敬畏上帝、也不尊重人，但是那個女人不斷地煩擾法官、不斷地請求協助。最後，法官終於幫助了那個女人。 上帝並不像那個法官，上帝是良善和公義的，祂會留心聆聽我們的禱告，並且會幫助我們。我們應該禱告祈求，並且相信上帝會回應我們的禱告。此外，我們也要天天持續不斷地禱告，永不放棄。 今天你是否遇到了困難？你是否需要上帝的幫助呢？就將你的問題和你的需要告訴上帝，上帝會留心聆聽你並賜下適合你的東西。—BH 「難道上帝不會替那些日夜向他求援的子民伸冤嗎？他會延遲援助他們嗎？我告訴你們，他一定儘快為他們伸冤。」 路加福音18:7-8a

Verse 1 of our Bible Reading says, “Then Jesus taught the followers that they should always pray and never lose hope.” Jesus told His followers a story to help them understand. The story was about a woman whose husband had died. A man was doing bad things to this woman. So the woman went to a judge to ask for help. The judge didn’t care about God or other people. But the woman kept bothering the judge and asking for his help. So finally, the judge helped the woman. God is not like that judge. God is good and fair. He pays attention to our prayers and will help us. We should pray and have faith that God will answer our prayers. And, we should continue to pray every day and not give up. Are you facing problems today? Do you need God’s help? Share your problems and your needs with Him. God will pay attention to you and give you what is right. —BH “God’s people shout to him night and day, and he will always give them what is right. He will not be slow to answer them. I tell you, God will help his people quickly.” Luke 18:7-8a
PRAYER: Heavenly Father, thank You for paying attention to my prayers. In Jesus’ name. Amen. |
