如果我有一部車，我就必須做某些事情來讓車子跑得順暢。我必須換機油、確定輪胎是否充了氣，並且在散熱水箱裡保持足夠的冷卻液。這些動作我們稱為「保養」。 　當我們信主之後，我們必須做一些「保養」來幫助我們在靈性上成長。我們必須禱告，以及研讀上帝的話語；我們也必須承認我們的罪，並且悔改。 　今天的經文談到認罪與悔改。我們也許會去察看其他基督徒，然後認為他們正在做錯誤的事，但是在我們批評他們所做的事之前，我們必須先除去在我們生命中的錯誤。我們必須告訴上帝我們曾經犯的錯，並且求祂赦免我們。 　今天就在上帝面前謙卑下來，審視自己的生命、承認你的罪、並請求赦免。上帝會赦免你，並幫助你在祂裡面成長。 —DVH* 「如果我們向上帝認罪，他是信實公義的，他要赦免我們的罪，洗淨我們所犯的各種過錯。」 約翰一書1:9 禱告：天父，請赦免我，並幫助我為祢而活。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (尤榮輝譯)

If I have a car, I need to do certain things to keep my car running smoothly. I need to change the oil, make sure the tires are filled with air and keep enough fluid in the radiator. These things are called “maintenance.” 　When we become a Christian, we need to do some maintenance to help us grow spiritually. We need to pray and study God’s Word. We also need to confess our sins and repent. 　Our Bible Reading today talks about confession and repentance. We may look at other Christians and think that they are doing something wrong. But before we criticize them for what they are doing, we need to get rid of the wrong things in our lives. We need to tell God what we have done wrong and ask Him to forgive us. 　Be humble before God today. Examine your life, confess your sins and ask for forgiveness. God will forgive you and help you grow in Him. —DVH* “But if we confess our sins, God will forgive us. We can trust God to do this. He always does what is right.
