聖經閱讀：詩篇49:1-20 現代中譯本|合和本

今天的詩篇用一個「忠告」作為起頭，這個忠告是寫給所有的人，包括窮人和富人。作者說，他將分享一些「智慧的話」和「明智的事」(第3節)。 　今天的經文中，作者談到一些關於有錢人的事，他?：1)有錢人相信財富能保護他們(第5節)；2)沒有人擁有足夠的錢財可以買到永生的權利(第9節)；3)有錢人「死的時候甚麼也帶不去」(第17節)。 　這詩篇裡的「忠告」是什麼呢？第一，我們不應該懼怕有錢人，或是懼怕那些坐擁豪宅的人(第16節)；第二，我們應該要單單倚靠上帝來尋求救恩和永生(第15節)。 　今天，我希望你能照著這個忠告來行，不要擔心金錢或財產，只要專心愛上帝，並且服事祂。 —ECW 「然而，上帝要拯救我；他要救我脫離死亡的權勢。」 詩篇49:15 禱告：天父，我願每天都信靠祢，並且為祢而活。請幫助我，讓我愛祢、事奉祢。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (EHI譯/台南聖教會英語團契)

Good Advice

Today’s psalm begins by giving some good advice. This advice is for all people — poor people and rich people. The writer says that he will share “some very wise and intelligent things” (verse 3). 　The writer says several things about rich people: 1) Rich people think their wealth will protect them (verse 6). 2) No person has enough money to buy the right to live forever (verse 9). 3) Rich people “won’t take a thing with them when they die” (verse 17). 　What is the good advice in this psalm? First, we should not be afraid of people because they have a lot of money or big fancy houses (verse 16). Second, we should only depend on God for our salvation and eternal life (verse 15). 　I hope that you will follow this good advice today. Don’t worry about money and possessions. Focus on loving God and serving Him. —ECW “But God will pay the price and save my life.
