End with Praise
Bible Reading: Psalm 145:1-21
Thursday, November 15, 2012
I have always enjoyed reading. I especially like to read books with happy endings. I don’t like it when someone dies at the end. It seems strange to me to read a book with a sad ending. It is very discouraging to me. I love the way the book of Psalms ends. The last few chapters are very exciting and filled with much praise to God. That is a great way to end a book. When I finish reading through the book of Psalms, I am inspired and encouraged. Our Bible Reading today is part of several chapters where David praises God with much enthusiasm. David had many reasons to praise God. What about you? Do you praise God with much enthusiasm? When you worship with other Christians, end your time by praising God. When you are ready to go to bed, end your day by praising God! —CPE* “I praise you every day. I praise your name forever and ever. The Lord is great. People praise him very much. We can’t count all the great things he does.” Psalm 145:2-3
PRAYER: God, thank You for helping me when I am in trouble. Thank You for forgiving my sins. In Jesus’ name. Amen. |
