今天讀的經文是很棒的消息！上帝愛你，而且沒有任何事可以將你跟上帝的愛隔絶。你不必做任何事來賺取上帝的愛，而且無論你做什麼，上帝會永遠愛你。 　但是，如果你拒絶上帝的恩典，你就不能得救。上帝的恩典跟祂的愛是不一樣的，在你可以領受赦罪之恩前，你必須接受藉著耶穌而來的上帝恩典禮物。當然，上帝仍然會賜給你恩典，上帝會耐心等候你接受祂白白賜下的禮物……但是，上帝絶對不會強迫你接受它。 　在路加福音18:9-14中，耶穌說了一個驕傲的猶太宗教領袖跟一個謙卑稅吏的故事。那個法利賽人認為他行的善事讓他可以被上帝接納，他並沒有倚靠上帝的恩典，但是那個稅吏是一個謙卑的人，他懇求上帝赦免他，而上帝就赦免了他。無疑地，上帝愛他們兩人，但是只有那謙卑的稅吏領受了上帝的恩典。 －MK 「上帝敵對驕傲的人，賜恩典給謙卑的人。」 彼得前書5:5b 禱告：主，謝謝祢愛我。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (尤榮輝譯)

Today’s Bible Reading is great news! God loves you, and nothing can separate you from His love. You do not need to do anything to earn God’s love. And no matter what you do, God will continue to love you. You can reject God’s love, but that will not stop God from loving you. 　BUT if you reject God’s grace, you cannot be saved. God’s grace is not the same as God’s love. You must accept the gift of God’s grace through Jesus before you can receive forgiveness. Of course, God will still offer you His grace. God will patiently wait for you to accept His free gift...but God will never force you to accept it. 　In Luke 18:9-14, Jesus tells a story about a proud Jewish religious leader and a humble tax collector. The Pharisee thought the good things he did made him acceptable to God. He did not depend on God’s grace. But the tax collector was humble. He begged God to forgive him, and God forgave him. Certainly, God loved both men. But only the humble tax collector received God’s grace. —MK “God is against the proud, but he is kind to the humble.” 1 Peter 5:5b PRAYER: Lord, thank You for loving me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
