昨天我們讀到保羅所列生命中該擁有的品德，在今天讀的經文中，我們讀到一系列出自彼得、類似的品德。彼得將這些品德包含在一份我們該擁有的祝福清單裡：信心、美德、知識、節制、忍耐、敬虔、手足之愛和博愛（第5-7節）。「這些就是你們應該培養的品德；如果你們都具備了，你們就會更積極、更有效地認識我們的主耶穌基督」（第8節）。 彼得同時告訴我們如何可以擁有這些祝福：「上帝的神能已經把我們過敬虔生活所需的一切給了我們；這恩賜是藉著認識那位呼召我們來分享他自己的榮耀和善德的上帝而得的」（第3節）。第4節說，如果我們擁有這些祝福，就可以「分享上帝的神性。」 你可以擁有一個充滿上帝祝福的新年，今天就信靠祂、服事祂！ －JK 「所以，弟兄姊妹們，你們要更加努力，使上帝的呼召和揀選成為你們永久的經驗；有了這些經驗，你們就不至於墮落。」 彼得後書1:10

Yesterday we read Paul's list of things that we should have in our lives. In our Bible verses today, we read a similar list from Peter. Peter includes these things in his list of blessings that we should have: faith, goodness, knowledge, self-control, patience, devotion to God, kindness and love (verses 5-7). “If all these things are in you and growing, you will never fail to be useful to God. You will produce the kind of fruit that should come from your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ” (verse 8). Peter also tells us how we can have these blessings. “Jesus has the power of God. And his power has given us everything we need to live a life devoted to God. We have these things because we know him” (verse 3). Verse 4 says that if we have these blessings, we can “share in being like God.” You can have a new year filled with God's blessings. Trust and serve Him today! —JK “My brothers and sisters, God called you and chose you to be his. Do your best to live in a way that shows you really are God's called and chosen people. If you do all this, you will never fall.” 2 Peter 1:10
