新約聖經並沒有告訴我們更多關於馬利亞的事情。我們知道當耶穌被釘在十字架上時，馬利亞跟祂在一起（約翰福音19:25-27）。耶穌要求祂的門徒之一，約翰，去照顧馬利亞。今天的經文告訴我們一些關於馬利亞非常重要的事情，第14節說：「他們常在一起同心禱告；當中也有幾個婦女和耶穌的母親馬利亞，以及他的兄弟們。」這個經節讓我們知道，馬利亞和耶穌的兄弟都相信耶穌真是上帝的兒子，他們跟使徒在耶路撒冷等待上帝開始祂的教會那一天的到來。 相信耶穌是上帝的兒子是馬利亞做過最棒的事情，她願意接受耶穌作為她的救主並跟隨祂。 而你呢？你是否像馬利亞呢？你是否相信耶穌真是上帝的兒子呢？你是否願意讓耶穌成為你生命的主和救主呢？今天就跟隨並順服祂。 －JK 「她（馬利亞）將要生一個兒子，你要給他取名叫耶穌，因為他將拯救他的子民脫離他們的罪。」 馬太福音1:21
禱告：天父，我相信耶穌是祢的兒子，是世界的救主。奉耶穌的名，阿們！

The New Testament does not tell us much more about Mary. We know that she was with Jesus when He was crucified on the cross (John 19:25-27). Jesus asked one of His followers, John, to take care of Mary. Our Bible Reading today tells us something very important about Mary. Verse 14 says, “The apostles were all together. They were constantly praying with the same purpose. Some women, Mary the mother of Jesus, and his brothers were there with the apostles.” This verse shows us that Mary and Jesus’ brothers believed that Jesus was truly God’s Son. They waited in Jerusalem with the apostles for the day that God would start His church. Believing that Jesus is God’s Son was the greatest thing that Mary did. She was willing to accept Jesus as her Savior and follow Him. What about you? Are you like Mary? Do you believe that Jesus is truly God’s Son? Do you want Jesus to be Your Lord and Savior? Follow and obey Him today. —JK “[Mary] will give birth to a son. You will name him Jesus. Give him that name because he will save his people from their sins.” Matthew 1:21
PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I believe that Jesus is Your Son and the Savior of the world. In His name. Amen. |
