保羅從上帝那裏得到一個異象，在那個異象裏，他看到了一個從希臘馬其頓來的人，這個人跟保羅說：「請到馬其頓來幫助我們！」（使徒行傳16:9b）保羅和他的朋友就立刻搭船前往馬其頓。 　在腓立比城，保羅去到河邊禱告，他在那裏遇見一個名叫呂底亞的女人，她是一個賣紫色布的婦人，她也信奉上帝。保羅向她證道，然後「她和她一家的人都受洗禮」（第15a節）。之後，她邀請保羅和他的朋友住到她的家裡。 　呂底亞敞開心來領受耶穌的福音，她並且立刻將這個福音分享給住在家裡的人，同時她也分享她的家給保羅和他的朋友來住。呂底亞是真心愛上帝、事奉上帝的基督徒好榜樣。 　今天就尋找上帝可以使用你來服事祂的方法。 —BH 「用順服的心接受上帝種在你們心裏的道……你們不要以為只要聽道就夠了；你們必須行道。」 雅各書 1:21b-22a 禱告：主啊！求祢打開我的心並帶領我到祢希望我去的地方。我願永遠服事祢。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (李信儀譯)

Paul had a vision from God. In that vision he saw a man from Macedonia in Greece. The man said to Paul, “Come across to Macedonia and help us” (Acts 16:9b). Right away Paul and his friends sailed to Macedonia. 　In the city of Philippi, Paul went to the river to pray. There he met a woman named Lydia. She sold purple cloth. She also worshiped God. Paul preached to her and she “and all the people living in her house were baptized” (verse 15a). Later she invited Paul and his friends to stay at her house. 　Lydia’s heart was open to receive the Good News about Jesus. Right away she shared that news with the people who lived in her house. And she shared her home with Paul and his friends. Lydia is a good example of a Christian who truly loved and served God. 　Look for ways that God can use you to serve Him today. —BH “Be humble and accept God’s teaching that is planted in your hearts...Do what God’s teaching says; don’t just listen and do nothing.” James 1:21b-22a PRAYER: Lord, open my heart and lead me where You want me to go.
