每一天我在電視上聽到壞消息，也從報紙上讀到令人傷心的事情，所以當有一個朋友跟我說：「太讚了，我有個好消息要告訴你！」時，我就感到很興奮。今天的經文是由先知以賽亞寫的，在經文的第1b節他說：「他揀選了我，要我向貧窮的人傳佳音。他差遣我醫治傷心的人。」從以賽亞書整卷書裡，我們可以讀到這個好消息，就是上帝要差派祂的兒子耶穌來為所有人受死。 這個福音發生在耶穌來到世上生活、死去並從死裡復活的時候。因為這樣，我們可以得到赦免並且與祂永遠同住。這是所有消息中最棒的！ 如果你是基督徒，你就有責任去向其他人分享這個福音。這個福音將會安慰並鼓勵傷心、沒有盼望的人。今天你會向誰分享這個福音呢？ －PD* 「他差遣我宣告：上主拯救他子民的恩年；上帝懲罰仇敵的日子。他差遣我去安慰悲傷的人。」 以賽亞書61:2

Share the Good News!

Every day I hear bad news on TV and read about sad things in the newspaper. So I am excited when a friend says to me, “Boy, do I have good news for you!” Our Bible verses today were written by the prophet, Isaiah. In verse 1b he said, “The Lord has chosen me to tell good news to the poor and to comfort those who are sad.” Throughout the book of Isaiah we can read the good news that God would send His Son, Jesus, to die for all people. That good news happened when Jesus came to earth to live, die and rise from the dead. Because of that, we can have forgiveness and live forever with Him. That is the best news of all! If you are a Christian, you have the responsibility to share that good news with other people. That news will comfort and encourage people who are sad and without hope. Who will you share this news with today? —PD “He sent me to announce that the time has come for the Lord to show his kindness, when our God will punish evil people. He has sent me to comfort those who are sad.” Isaiah 61:2
