今天經文的第15節跟我們談到下一件上帝的軍裝：「又用平安的福音當作預備走路的鞋穿在腳上。幫助你站立的穩。」 　在聖經記載的年代裡，士兵的腳上都穿什麼呢？他們穿的是能在戰鬥中保護腳並幫助他們走路的鞋子。雙腳沒有保護的士兵不能走很遠、也不能打好仗。 　身為基督徒，我們必須穿上平安的福音所作的鞋，這個福音就是耶穌的死、復活，以及今天活著所賜給我們的救恩。當我們接受了這個福音，我們就會被上帝的平安所充滿；當我們與魔鬼爭戰時，上帝的平安就會幫助我們。 　今天你希望站立得穩來抵擋魔鬼嗎？就相信並跟從耶穌吧！讓上帝的愛和平安充滿你的生命，然後預備好向你遇到的人分享耶穌的福音。 —CE 「可見信是從聽而來的，而聽是從基督的話語來的。」 羅馬書10:17 禱告：上帝，謝謝祢今天賜給我機會去向那些不認識耶穌的人分享福音。奉主的名，阿們！ (呂心愉譯)

Verse 15 of our Bible Reading tells us the next part of God's armor. “On your feet wear the Good News of peace to help you stand strong.” 　What did soldiers in Bible times wear on their feet? They wore shoes that protected their feet and helped them walk in battle. A soldier who has no protection for his feet will not be able to walk very far or fight very well. 　As Christians, we need to wear the Good News of peace. The Good News is that Jesus died, rose from the dead and lives today to offer us salvation. When we accept that Good News, we will be filled with God’s peace. God’s peace will help us as we fight against the devil. 　Do you want to stand strong against the devil today? Believe and follow Jesus. Allow God’s love and peace to fill your life. Then be ready to share the Good News about Jesus with people you meet. —CE “So faith comes from hearing the Good News. And people hear the Good News when someone tells them about Christ.” Romans 10:17 PRAYER: God, thank You for opportunities today to share the Good News with people who do not know Jesus. In His name.
