聖誕節心情 (4)

我知道有人總是在聖誕節的時候有罪惡感，他們為什麼會有罪惡感呢？因為他們沒有足夠的錢可以買禮物，或者覺得買不到合適的禮物。 　但是，我們不應該為這樣的事有罪惡感，如果我們犯了罪或是不順服上帝，我們才應該有罪惡感，而這樣的罪惡感會讓我們向上帝認罪，並且恢復跟上帝和好的關係。 　當我們想到耶穌以嬰孩的樣式來到世上，這提醒了我們上帝為耶穌一生所準備的計畫。耶穌來到世上是要為我們的罪成為贖罪祭，但是在耶穌赦免我們之前，我們必須先認罪。 　今天的經文第5節中，作者說：「於是，我向你承認我的罪；我不隱瞞自己的過犯。我決意向你陳明一切，你就赦免我所有的罪。」 　就讓今年的聖誕節成為赦免的日子。你要認罪，並且求上帝赦免你，然後好好慶祝上帝賜給你的這份大禮！—GT 「心裏沒有詭詐、不被上主定罪的人，他是多麼有福啊！」 詩篇32:2 禱告：天父，謝謝祢除掉我的罪。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (SSL譯/台南聖教會英語團契)

I know people who always feel guilty at Christmas. Why do they feel guilty? Because they don’t have enough money to buy gifts or they think they can’t buy the right kind of gifts. 　But we should not feel guilty about these kinds of things. We should feel guilty if we have sinned and disobeyed God. Then our guilt causes us to confess our sins and have a right relationship with God again. 　When we think about Jesus coming to earth as a baby, we are reminded about God’s plan for Jesus’ life. Jesus came to be the sacrifice for our sins. But before Jesus can forgive our sins, we need to confess our sins. 　In verse 5 of our Bible Reading today, the writer said, “But then I decided to confess all my sins to the Lord. Lord, I told you about my sins. I did not hide my guilt. And you forgave me for all my sins!” 　Make this Christmas a time of forgiveness. Confess your sins and ask God to forgive you. Then celebrate God’s greatest gift to you! —GT “A person is very happy when the Lord says he is not guilty. That person is very fortunate he didn’t hide his secret sins.” Psalm 32:2 PRAYER: Heavenly Father, thank You for taking away my sin. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
