聖殿
聖經閱讀：歷代志下5:1-14 現代中譯本|合和本

　今天讀的經節跟我們談到所羅門王建造聖殿的故事。當聖殿完工時，祭司們把約櫃放進聖殿的至聖所裡面，然後向上帝唱讚美的詩歌，但是接下來發生的事一定很壯觀：「那時，雲彩充滿聖殿，閃耀著上主的光輝，以至祭司無法繼續主持禮拜」（第11b節）。
那時，上帝親自顯現在聖殿中，但是新約聖經教導我們，基督徒的身體是聖靈的殿，哥林多前書6:19a說：「你們不知道你們的身體就是聖靈的殿嗎？這聖靈住在你們裡面，是上帝所賜的。」
因為上帝的靈住在我們裡面，我們必須記得持守身體的潔淨，當我們被引誘去犯罪時，要想到上帝並單單做討祂喜悅的事，「因為他用重價買了你們。所以，你們要用身體來榮耀上帝」（哥林多前書6:20）。 —BP*

The Temple
Bible Reading: 2 Chronicles 5:1-14

　Our Bible verses tell us about the Temple built by King Solomon. When the Temple was finished, the priests put the box in the Most Holy Place of the Temple. Then they sang songs of praise to God. But what happened next must have been really magnificent. “Then the Lord's Temple was filled with a cloud. The priests could not continue to serve because of the cloud, because the Glory of the Lord filled the Temple” (verse 13b-14).
At that time, God's presence was in the Temple. But the New Testament teaches that Christians are spiritual temples. 1 Corinthians 6:19a says, “You should know that your body is a temple for the Holy Spirit that you received from God and that lives in you.”
Because God’s Spirit lives in us, we need to remember to keep our bodies pure. When we are tempted to sin, we should think about God and only do things that please Him. “God paid a very high price to make you his. So honor God with your body” (1 Corinthians 6:20). —BP*
