救恩
聖經閱讀：以賽亞書43:1-4 現代中譯本|合和本

　消防隊員在救火時會有特殊的裝備來保護自己，這些東西固然有幫助，但有時候消防員還是必須做一些特別的事來確保安全。
我先生曾經是開消防車的駕駛，有一次一個消防員爬到離地40英呎高的雲梯上，突然間，大樓的牆就要倒塌，我先生很快地移開靠牆的雲梯，然而他並沒有注意到後背的大衣正在冒煙，幸好有一個消防員轉身用水管向我先生噴水才撲滅了火，這就是消防員彼此保護、免於受傷的方法。
今天閱讀的經文中，以賽亞談到上帝如何愛他的百姓並照顧他們，上帝是這麼愛我們，所以願意差派祂的獨生子為我們的罪而死。就像消防隊員努力保護對方免於火災的傷害一樣，上帝已經拯救我們免於永遠的刑罰。

　Firemen have special clothing and equipment to protect them when they are fighting a fire. These things are helpful, but sometimes firemen must do something special to keep safe.
My husband used to drive a fire truck. One time a fireman was 40 feet up on a ladder. Suddenly, the wall of the building started to fall. My husband quickly swung the ladder away from the wall just in time. However, my husband didn’t notice that the back of his coat was smoking. Another fireman turned a hose on him and put out the fire. That is how the firemen saved each other from injury.
In our Bible Reading today, Isaiah talks about how God loves His people and takes care of them. God loves us so much that He was willing to send His only Son to die for our sins. Just as firemen work hard to keep each other safe from the fire, God has saved us from eternal punishment.
Praise and thank God for salvation through Jesus. —DF

PRAYER: Father, thank You for saving me from eternal punishment. In Jesus' name. Amen.
