聖經閱讀：以弗所書5:15-20 現代中譯本|合和本

就在去年的聖誕節前，我去郵局買郵票好讓自己可以寄一些信。當我到達郵局時，我在門口看見了一個大大的標誌，而郵局裡面也有另外一個標誌。這些標誌說，郵局裡沒有郵票。郵局有賣其他東西──箱子、膠帶、匯票──但是沒有郵票。我不能想像一間郵局竟然不賣郵票！ 　這個經驗提醒我一些信主的人發生的事情。他們去教會、行善事、讀經、甚至背了一些經節，但是他們的生命卻遺漏了一些東西，所遺漏的東西就是聖靈和祂的大能。 　今天的經節鼓勵我們被聖靈充滿，當被上帝的靈充滿時，我們就會去做上帝希望我們做的事，我們會鼓勵其他基督徒，並且唱歌讚美上帝。 　就讓上帝用祂的靈充滿你，然後天天為祂而活。 －SQ 「……要被聖靈充滿。要用詩篇、聖詩、靈歌對唱；要從心底發出音樂，頌讚主，向他歌唱。」 以弗所書5:18b-19 禱告：天父，求祢的靈充滿我，並帶領我為祢而活。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (尤榮輝譯)

Last year right before Christmas, I went to the post office to buy stamps so I could mail some letters. When I arrived at the post office, I saw a large sign on the door and another sign inside the building. These signs said that there were no stamps in the post office. The post office had other things to sell — boxes, tape, money orders — but no stamps. I couldn’t imagine a post office that didn’t sell stamps! 　This experience reminded me of what happens to some Christians. They go to church, do good things, read the Bible and even memorize some verses. But something is missing in their lives. What is missing is the Holy Spirit and His power. 　Our Bible verses today encourage us to be filled with the Holy Spirit. When we are filled with God’s Spirit, we will do what God wants us to do. We will encourage other Christians and sing and praise God. 　Allow God to fill you with His Spirit. Then live for Him every day. —SQ “…be filled with the Spirit. Encourage each other with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your hearts to the Lord.” Ephesians 5:18b-19 PRAYER: Father, fill me with Your Spirit and guide me to live for You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
