你不能欺哄上帝

我曾經讀到一則消息，說有一個人搶了超過200間房子。他說，他所做的並沒有錯，因為被搶的人可以從保險公司拿到錢。當我們做錯事時，我們常會找藉口，我們會努力給一些理由說明為什麼要做這些錯事，來合理化我們的罪。 　我們也許可以用藉口欺哄一些人，但是我們不能欺哄上帝。當我們做錯事時，上帝全都知道。聖經閱讀的第15節說：「耶穌對他們說：『你們在人面前儼然正人君子，但是上帝洞察你們的內心；因為人所看重的，在上帝眼中卻是可憎惡的。』」 　上帝已經用這麼多的方法來祝福我們！我們不應該犯罪又找藉口，反而應該親近上帝和祂的話語。今天就親近上帝、遵從祂，並避開那些會誘惑你的地方和狀況。—SH* 「沒有僕人能夠伺候兩個主人。他要不是厭惡這個，喜愛那個，就是看重這個，輕看那個。你們不可能同時作上帝的僕人，又作錢財的奴隸。」 路加福音16:13 禱告：上帝，請教導我和祢一樣恨惡罪，幫助我永遠親近祢。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (姜冠群譯)

I read about a man who robbed more than 200 houses. He said that what he did was not wrong because the people he robbed received money from their insurance companies. When we do something wrong, we often make excuses. We try to justify our sins by giving reasons why we did those wrong things. 　We might fool some people with our excuses, but we can’t fool God. When we do something wrong, God knows all about us. Verse 15 of our Bible Reading says, “Jesus said to them, ‘You make yourselves look good in front of people. But God knows what is really in your hearts. What people think is important is worth nothing to God.’” 　God has blessed us in so many ways! Instead of sinning and making excuses, we should keep close to God and His Word. Stay close to God today. Obey Him. Avoid places and situations that tempt you. —SH* “You cannot serve two masters at the same time. You will hate one master and love the other. Or you will be loyal to one and not care about the other. You cannot serve God and Money at the same time.” Luke 16:13 PRAYER: God, teach me to hate sin as much as You do. Help me to always stay close to You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
