有很多的聖經經節都告訴我們應該要為別人代禱。在今天的聖經閱讀中，耶穌為祂的門徒向上帝禱告。在第9節，耶穌說：「我為他們祈求；我不為世人祈求，而是為你所賜給我的人祈求，因為他們是屬於你的。」然後在第15節，耶穌說：「我不求你從世上把他們帶走，但我求你使他們脫離那邪惡者。」耶穌知道，身為基督徒且要在世上生活是困難的，這也是為什麼祂要為門徒們代禱。在第20和第21節中，耶穌為將來可能會跟隨祂的人禱告，這表示，耶穌也曾經為你和我代禱！ 現今，世上有許多不好的事情正在發生，我們必須時時提防魔鬼會用來一些方法來誘惑我們，這也是為什麼我們彼此代禱是如此重要──就好像耶穌為我們代禱一樣。 今天就為其他基督徒代禱，這樣我們就會在基督裡合一。—MS 「弟兄姊妹們，請為我們禱告。」 帖撒羅尼迦前書5:25
禱告：天父上帝，當我的弟兄姊妹在為祢的國度作工時，請保護他們。奉耶穌的名，阿們！

There are many Bible verses that tell us we should pray for other people. In our Bible Reading today, Jesus prayed to God for His disciples. In verse 9, Jesus said, “I pray for them now. I am not praying for the people in the world. But I am praying for these people you gave me, because they are yours.” Then in verse 15, Jesus said, “I am not asking you to take them out of the world. But I am asking that you keep them safe from the Evil One.” Jesus knows that it is hard to be a Christian and live in the world. That’s why He prayed for His disciples. In verses 20 and 21, Jesus prayed for people who would follow Him in the future. That means Jesus prayed for you and me! There are many bad things happening in the world today. We need to always be watching for ways that the devil will tempt us. That’s why it is important for us to pray for each other — just like Jesus prayed for us. Pray for other Christians today. Then we will all be one in Jesus. —MS “Brothers and sisters, please pray for us.” 1 Thessalonians 5:25
PRAYER: Father God, please protect my brothers and sisters in Christ as they work for Your kingdom. In Jesus’ name. Amen. |
