順服
聖經閱讀：申命記11:13-25 現代中譯本|合和本

姪女告訴我：「爸爸送我們家的狗去訓練學校，狗狗變得很順服，但是爸爸自己卻不及格！」 　這是一件好笑的事，但是「順服」卻不是可以開玩笑的。今天的經文裡，上帝教導以色列人順服的重要性。在第13節，祂說：「要愛上主─你們的上帝，一心一意事奉他。」意思就是說，我們必須把一生全部獻給上帝。 　當我們把生命獻給上帝時，就表示無論在順境或逆境，我們都會跟隨祂，同時也表示我們會遵行祂的命令。但是，我們不可以只在教會或是有人在看我們的時候，才遵行祂的命令，我們應該要24小時都順服上帝。 　當我們對上帝完全委身時，上帝就會很高興。上帝信守諾言，而且祂會祝福我們、照顧我們。請你讀一讀今天的經文，學習該如何順服上帝，然後天天愛祂、跟從祂。—LHD 「你們要謹慎遵行我頒佈給你們的一切誡命；要愛上主─你們的上帝，實行他一切的命令，對他忠心。」 申命記11:22 禱告：上帝，我要把我的一生全部獻給祢。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (SSL譯/台南聖教會英語團契)

My niece told me, “Dad took our dog to obedience school. The dog was very obedient, but Dad failed the class!” 　That’s a funny story, but obedience is not something to laugh about. In our Bible verses today, God taught the Israelites about the importance of obedience. In verse 13b He said, “You must love the Lord your God, and serve him with all your heart and all your soul.” This means that we need to give all of our life to God. 　When we give our life to God, it means that we follow Him through good times and bad times. It also means that we obey His commands. But we should not just obey His commands when we are in church or when someone is watching us. We should obey His commands twenty-four hours a day. 　God is pleased with us when we are completely committed to Him. God keeps His promises, and He will bless us and take care of us. Read the Bible and learn how you can obey God.
