喜樂
聖經閱讀：彼得前書1:3-9 現代中譯本|合和本

彼得前書1:8是我最喜歡的經節，這節說：「你們雖然沒有見過他，卻愛他；雖然現在看不見他，卻信他。你們有言語所不能表達的那無限的喜樂」。
我們常常認為「喜樂」和「開心」是同一件事，美國的手語中，這兩個詞比的方式是一樣的，但是，我們有喜樂卻不一定開心，或是，我們開心時卻沒有喜樂。
「喜樂」就是知道上帝在我們的生命中掌權。有時候我們遇到不好的事情，這時我們不開心，但是我們仍然可以喜樂，為什麼呢？因為我們明白上帝知道什麼是對我們最好的。
有些人擁有許多好事：錢財、家產、健康、成功，這些東西使他們開心，但是，這些人可以擁有真正喜樂的唯一方法，就是每天讓上帝帶領他們。

上帝要你今天就充滿喜樂！你要信靠並且跟隨祂。 —JM

Joy
Bible Reading: 1 Peter 1:3-9

　1 Peter 1:8 is my favorite Bible verse. This verse says, “You have not seen Christ, but still you love him. You can't see him now, but you believe in him. You are filled with a wonderful and heavenly joy that cannot be explained.”
Often we think the words “joy” and “happy” mean the same things. In American Sign Language, we sign both words the same way. But we can have joy and not be happy. Or, we can be happy and not have joy.
Joy means knowing that God is in control of our lives. Sometimes bad things happen to us. We are not happy, but we can still have joy. Why? Because we know that God knows what is best for us. Some people have many good things happen to them: wealth, possessions, good health, success. These things make them happy. But the only way these people can have real joy is if they let God lead them every day.

God wants you to be full of joy today! Trust and follow Him. —JM

PRAYER: Dear Lord, I want to trust You, follow You and experience Your joy. In Jesus' name. Amen.
