大約在耶穌出生前兩百年，亞西亞的一個國王將一個城市命名為非拉鐵非。這個名字是由兩個希臘字所組成的，他們的意思分別是「愛」與「兄弟」。 　啟示錄中提到了非拉鐵非這個城市，聖靈帶領約翰寫了這本書是要送給亞西亞的七間教會，其中的一間教會就位於非拉鐵非。今天的經文就是耶穌要送給在非拉鐵非信徒的信息。 　在第8a節，耶穌說：「我知道你只有一點兒能力，可是你遵守了我的話，也對我忠誠。」在非拉鐵非的信徒，他們信靠上帝，並且在患難中依然忍耐。 　我們必須像非拉鐵非的信徒一樣，當我們面對困難和逼迫時，必須倚靠上帝來幫助我們。今天就信靠上帝來帶領你，並且幫助你去跟別人分享耶穌的福音。 —SAH 「我就要來了。你要持守你所有的，不要讓人奪去你勝利的華冠。」 啟示錄3:11 禱告：天父，今天我要倚靠祢。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (林煜茹譯)

Philadelphia

About two hundred years before Jesus was born, a king in Asia named a city Philadelphia. This name is made up of two Greek words which mean “love” and “brother.” 　The city of Philadelphia is mentioned in the book of Revelation. The Holy Spirit led John to write this book to seven churches in Asia. One of these churches was in the city of Philadelphia. The verses in our Bible Reading today are Jesus’ message to the Christians in Philadelphia. 　In verse 8b Jesus says, “I know you are weak, but you have followed my teaching. You were not afraid to speak my name.” The Christians in Philadelphia trusted God, and they were patient during times of trouble. 　We need to be like the Christians in Philadelphia. When we face problems and persecution, we need to depend on God to help us. Trust God today to lead you and help you share the Good News about Jesus with others. —SAH “I am coming soon. Hold on to the faith you have, so that no one can take away your crown.” Revelation 3:11 PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I will depend on You today. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
