在今天經文的第34b節，耶穌告訴祂的門徒：「我怎樣愛你們，你們也要怎樣彼此相愛。」當基督徒彼此相愛時，他們是願意幫助人的、是寬恕人的，並且他們會彼此代禱。他們也希望彼此所得到的都是最好的。 　為什麼基督徒彼此相愛是這麼重要呢？首先，在第34節中，耶穌命令我們要彼此相愛。而第二個理由則在第35節：「如果你們彼此相愛，世人就知道你們是我的門徒。」當基督徒彼此相愛時，他們就會去幫助那些尚未得救的人認識耶穌的愛。 　在馬太福音5:44a，耶穌談到了要彼此相愛的第三個理由，耶穌說：「…要愛你們的仇敵」。如果我們不愛主內的弟兄姊妹，就永遠無法去愛我們的仇敵。 　耶穌的話是非常重要的。我希望你留心聆聽祂的話語，並且今天就去愛其他的基督徒。 —GT 「所以，基督這樣命令我們：那愛上帝的，也必須愛自己的弟兄和姊妹。」 約翰一書4:21 禱告：天父，我願學像耶穌，並且去愛所有主內的弟兄姊妹。奉祂的名，阿們！ (林煜茹譯)

In verse 34b of our Bible Reading today, Jesus told His disciples, “You must love each other just as I have loved you.” When Christians love each other, they are helpful and forgiving and they pray for each other. They also want the best for each other. 　Why is it important for Christians to love each other? First, in verse 34, Jesus commanded us to love each other. The second reason is found in verse 35. “All people will know that you are my followers if you love each other.” When Christians love each other, they help unsaved people know about Jesus’ love. 　Jesus talked about a third reason for loving each other in Matthew 5:44a. Jesus said, “...love your enemies.” If we don’t love our Christian brothers and sisters, we will never be able to love our enemies. 　Jesus’ words are very important. I hope you will pay attention to His words and show love for other Christians today. —GT “God gave us this command: If we love God, we must also love each other as brothers and sisters.”1 John 4:21 PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I want to be like Jesus and love all my Christian brothers and sisters.
