　今天我們要來談耶穌賜給撒狄基督徒的信息。撒狄位於士每拿東南方48公里處，那裡有很多人崇拜阿蒂米斯神祉。撒狄以藝術和製造金幣、銀幣聞名。
有些人說撒狄是「已死的教會」，為什麼呢？因為耶穌對這些基督徒說：「…你是活著的，實際上你是死的」（第1b節）。耶穌勸勉這間教會的人要改變他們的心和生活，如果這些人不改變，耶穌說：「你若不醒悟，我要像小偷一樣突然來到，而你絕不會知道我要來到的那時刻」（第3b節）。
耶穌曾經告訴我們，有一天祂會再回來帶祂的信徒去跟祂永遠同住。我們不知道耶穌什麼時候會來，我們還在等候祂，但我們要隨時預備好祂的再來。我希望你已經預備好了！ —DF

Today we will talk about Jesus' message to the Christians in Sardis. This city was 30 miles southeast of Thyatira. Many people there worshiped the goddess Artemis. Sardis was famous for its art and the making of gold and silver coins.
Some people call Sardis the “dead church.” Why? Because Jesus said to these Christians, “...you are alive, but really you are dead” (verse 1b). Jesus encouraged the people in this church to change their hearts and lives. If these people would not change, Jesus said, “I will come to you and surprise you like a thief. You will not know when I will come” (verse 3b).
Jesus has told us that He will come back someday and take His followers to live with Him forever. We don't know when Jesus will come. We are still waiting for Him. But we need to always be ready for Jesus to return. I hope you are ready! —DF
